John is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia and has extensive experience in public works engineering. He had a 15 year career as a senior local government engineer, working for such local governments as the Shire of Wyndham - East Kimberley and the Cities of Wanneroo and Perth. Since leaving the employment of local government, John has provided consulting services to that sector and the private sector in the fields of civil engineering, asset management and waste management.
Waste Management Section Leader
Ronan has over 10 years international experience consulting to the Waste Management industry. From this, Ronan has a solid understanding of waste management legislation, policies and practices within the European Union and Australia. Ronan has been employed by some of the most renowned global consultancies and in his previous role, successfully lead the largest waste management consultancy team in Western Australia. Ronan’s key strengths include; strategic waste management planning and feasibility as well as the delivery (design, approvals and tendering) of waste management infrastructure.
Environmental Services Section Leader
Andrew is an environmental consultant and manager with a wide range of expertise and experience, both as a regulator and a consultant. Andrew has qualifications in Engineering, Law and Business. He specialises in approvals and compliance and has been involved in numerous projects across a wide variety of operations and issues, including mining and industrial, contamination, waste management and land development. He has also been engaged by a range of clients as Expert Witness and undertaken specialist Peer Review work in a variety of forums.
Administration & Accounts Section Leader
Debbi heads up the corporate services at Talis, including Finance, Administration and Human Resources. Following an initial degree in Psychology, she went on to obtain qualifications in Finance and Corporate Governance and is a member with the Institute of Public Accountants. Debbi has had over 20 years’ accounting experience working across many industry sectors, both in South Africa and Australia. Her focus is to ensure that the management systems at Talis are well managed, and to provide support and guidance across the organisation.
Asset Management Section Leader
Dale is an asset management consultant providing both strategic and operational asset management services to State and local government. He has undertaken asset management reviews for local and State government agencies and for 10 years Dale was responsible for the delivery of the ROMAN Pavement Management System, a system utilised by all of WA local government. Dale has produced optimised forward works programs for infrastructure such as roads, paths and drainage and valuations to satisfy local government financial reporting requirements for over 100 metropolitan and rural local governments.
Spatial Section Leader
Nigel is a Geospatial Consultant with experience in providing expert Geographic Information Systems advice and services. His areas of expertise include spatial system implementation, development of GIS governance frameworks, the establishment of robust spatial data management practices, spatial analysis and map production. Nigel's focus is ensuring that organisations fully realise the value and potential of Corporate Spatial Intelligence to the areas in which they operate.
Noise Section Leader
Granger is a noise consultant with extensive experience in providing noise consultancy advice to a range of mining, oil & gas and utilities clients. His sound understanding of operational requirements and a passion for providing tailored solutions has seen a wide range of clients engage and retain his services. His experience includes environmental, occupational and underwater noise.
Civil Engineering Section Leader
Employed in senior representative roles on behalf of project Clients, Designers and Contractors on a major road, rail and mine site infrastructure projects in Ireland, UK, and Australia. Damien's experience ranges from construction, project management, supervision, design coordination, contract management to the administration of projects. He has participated in a range of design and construction risk assessments relating to some of the work areas together with management, preparation and assessment of contractual claims.
